FORTUNA COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT)

We’re dedicated to preparing and empowering our community to face any disaster with strength and confidence.
​
Through hands-on education and essential preparedness training, we equip individuals, organizations, and houses of worship with the skills to protect and support themselves and others in the critical first days of a disaster.
​
Our team stands ready to respond immediately during a major emergency or disaster, strengthening the frontline effort; amplifying the reach of our first responders during times of crisis.
​
Together, we transform readiness into action and neighbors into lifesavers.
​
Fortuna's CERT team serves under the guidance of, and with the support of the Fortuna Fire District; working closely with other members of teams from throughout the Humboldt County CERT Council.
